Spicer Estates is nestled away in the small farming community of Mullica Hill in Gloucester County, Southern New Jersey. Nearby Main Street is lined with specialty shops, antique shops, restaurants, beauty spas and many professional offices. The very nice modern Gloucester County Library is located in Mullica Hill.
Within walking distance of Spicer Estates is a shopping center which hosts a supermarket, drug store, bank, and many specialty stores and restaurants. Additionally, there are also malls and many shopping centers within a 20 mile radius of Spicer Estates.
The new Inspira Hospital is located approximately three miles from Spicer Estates in nearby Richwood. There are several houses of worship in Harrison Township including The Catholic Community of The Holy Spirit, Mullica Hill Baptist Church, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, The United Methodist Church of Mullica Hill, Chabad of Gloucester County, and True North Church.
Spicer Estates is approximately 25 miles south of Philadelphia and just a short ride (approximately sixty miles) to popular ocean resorts like Atlantic City, Ocean City and Wildwood. It is just 5 miles from the New Jersey Turnpike for an easy half hour drive to tax free shopping in Delaware. For golfers, there are many golf courses within 15 miles.
Spicer Estates does not have any recreational facilities on its own property; however, a public park is within walking distance offering a walking trail and picnic facilities. Additionally, within a quarter mile, residents can enjoy a fitness center with swimming pool.
